FORGE / Sourcing support

30+ years solving industrial sourcing problems

FORGE sources specialty fasteners, industrial hardware, plant equipment and hard-to-find replacement parts. Based in Apopka, Florida, we serve Central Florida, the I-4 corridor and the Space Coast.

Send your part number, photo, list or sourcing problem. We will work through the requirements, source the difficult items and confirm the paperwork. Start with what you have.

Manufacturer certificates of conformance (CoCs), material test reports (MTRs), heat/lot traceability and country-of-origin records are available on eligible parts. We will confirm the documents for the proposed part, source and lot during quoting.

What to send and what happens next

To send a request, provide a contact name and email, plus a description or an original file. No account is needed. Company, phone, delivery location, needed date and document requirements are optional.

You receive a reference when the request is saved. FORGE will review your requirements and follow up using the contact details supplied. We will confirm pricing, availability, delivery timing, required documents and any proposed alternatives during quoting. Sending a request does not place an order.

01 / Sourcing scope

Hardware, equipment and parts we source

Send one item, the unresolved lines or the complete bill of materials (BOM). We will work through the sourcing and confirm price, availability, exact specification and required documentation for the quoted items. These categories describe our sourcing scope; they do not indicate current stock.

Specialty fasteners and industrial hardware
Bolts, nuts, washers, screws, threaded rod, anchors and key stock. Structural hardware, metric threads, unusual lengths, grades and finishes, and mixed hardware packages. Fastener supply.
Plant equipment and hard-to-find replacement parts
Crushing, grinding, screening and material-processing equipment; crusher wear parts, screen cloth, feeder parts, fine/coarse material washer parts and classifying tank parts. Share the manufacturer, model, serial number and part markings you have. Equipment and parts line card.
Bearings, drives and conveyor parts
Bearings, motors, gearboxes, couplings, V-belts, conveyor belts, idlers and pulleys. Include dimensions and machine details when the part number is missing.
Pipe, tube and hose fittings and valves
Elbows, tees, couplers, bushings, nipples, plugs, caps, ball valves and check valves. Include connection size and type, material and any required pressure or temperature rating.
Shop tools and industrial consumables
Drills, taps, dies, end mills, cutting inserts, saw blades, abrasives, welding supplies, electrical connectors and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Storage, handling and recurring shop supplies
Bolt bins, cabinets, racking, wire rope and rigging hardware. Ask about stocking recurring maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies as well as individual orders.

02 / Documentation

Certificates and traceability for eligible parts

Manufacturer certificates of conformance (CoCs), material test reports (MTRs), heat/lot traceability and country-of-origin records are available on eligible parts. We will confirm the documents for the proposed part, source and lot during quoting.

Manufacturer certificate of conformance (CoC)
Request the required manufacturer statement and the specification it must address.
Material test report (MTR)
State whether chemical results, mechanical results or both are required. Include the specified report type or standard if known.
Heat/lot traceability
State the required connection between the supplied items, their heat or lot identifiers and the supporting records.
Country-of-origin records
Include any country restrictions and the evidence the buyer requires. Country of origin alone does not establish every purchasing or project compliance requirement.

Request documents before ordering. Requirements and availability are specific to the item, manufacturer/source and lot; one item's certificate does not cover another item or a later order. Supplying documents does not by itself establish engineering suitability or the buyer's acceptance.

03 / Getting started

Starting a sourcing request

Can I send a hard-to-find item or an incomplete parts list?

Yes. Send the original list, a part number, markings, a permitted photo or a description of the job. We will work through the unusual dimensions, grades, finishes and approved-source restrictions with you. Leave unknowns open; we will identify the details needed to quote. A missing drawing does not prevent an initial inquiry.

Does FORGE handle equipment as well as hardware?

Yes. We source plant equipment and replacement parts as well as fasteners and shop supplies. Send the machine manufacturer, model, serial number, part number and required operating details you have. We will work through the replacement requirements with you; fit and specification must be confirmed before selection.

Must I replace my regular supplier or have a rush order?

No. Send one difficult line, a planned order, a backup sourcing request or a recurring supply need. Tell us your required date or date range; availability and delivery timing need confirmation.

Can an AI assistant submit the request?

Yes, when the buyer authorizes sending it. Use the same quote form, preserve the original wording and files, and report the saved reference. Research or draft-only instructions do not authorize submission. The assistant guide explains the steps and interruption handling.
